In the free of charge Basic support plan, which customers from any support plan can use 24/7 includes: access to any support forms, AWS Documentation, whitepapers, and support whenever it is needed. There are three other support plans: Developer, Business, and Enterprise. Your can select a support plan that fits the needs of your company.
The Developer support plan includes all of the benefits of the Basic support plan, along with the added benefits of best-practice guidance, documentation, best-practice guides, and whitepapers. Additionally, you are provided with service health checks, to fix issues before they become problems.
Customers with the Business or Enterprise plan have access to additional features. The AWS Trusted Advisor will inspect your system to ensure performance, identify and fix potential security flaws, ensure your system is operating at peak reliability, and ensure that you learn of any opportunity to save money for your business. Your company’s specific needs will be analyzed to find which services, AWS products, and features will help your company the most using use-case guidance. Your AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) will allow you to control which individuals have access to AWS Support, allowing you to choose who can make changes to your cloud resources.The Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instance can integrate your third-party software support as well with either of these plans. There is also provided an API for allowing Trusted Advisor operations, support case management, and will also allow for interacting with Support Center and Trusted Advisor.
The Enterprise support plan provides many personal additional features. You get a technical account manager, an AWS Concierge, consulting partnerships for guidance in application architecture, engagement with AWS Support for infrastructure event management, which paired with your project and technical resources, provides for scaling and architectural guidance for an event, on a short-term basis. You also receive white-glove case routing, and management business reviews.
All customers receive Basic Support included with your AWS account. All plans, including Basic Support, provide 24×7 access to customer service, AWS documentation, whitepapers, and support forums. For access to technical support and additional Support resources, we offer plans to fit your unique needs.
